Canadian Children’s Museum
I think I have mentioned this before, but I just have to say again how great a place I think the Canadian Children’s Museum is. Every time we take the kids, they have a blast. Either making the crafts in the craft room, banging on or testing out whatever is in the interactive room (I can’t remember the exact name, but they always have something different.) The whole museum is interactive. Check out the info at http://www.civilization.ca/mce_ccm/mce_ccme.asp
If your kids are a little older, you might want to take in the Museum of Civilization and maybe an IMAX film.
Check out their website to see if there is anything you and your family might enjoy. I have included a link to their admission prices so that you can have a look at what it might cost (anywhere from $4 for a child, to $20 for a family of 4, or add an IMAX ticket to your admission and get a discount on the IMAX ticket.)
There can even be some deals to be had over the summer:
Half-price for all on:
- Sundays
- Museums’ Day weekend (May 14 and 15)
Free times:
- Every Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Canada Day (July 1, open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
