Ottawa Family Fun

The  Kids Learning and Growing Fair going on this weekend (January 28-29, 2006) at the Bell Sensplex in Kanata with 3 free (well free with admission to the event) Treehouse Live show: The Big Comfy Couch.  See my previous post for more detailed information.

Head out to a movie (check the rating and description to help you pick one age appropriate):

• The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
• Hoodwinked 
• King Kong
• Imax: Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon
• Nanny McPhee 

Centerpointe Theatre

• The Emperor’s New Clothes

The Pinto Valley Ranch is having a free Outdoor Family Fun Day Sunday with Pond Skating, Sleigh Rides and sliding.  Give the ranch a call for more details for the hours of the event.  I have sent them an email and will post more information when I get it. 

And, the Rideau Canal is scheduled to be reopened at noon today again, so strap on those blades before the temperature rises again.  I think it is supposed to be +5 C Saturday, so if you are looking for something to do tonight it might be perfect conditions!
