Ottawa Family Fun

I was looking through the local EMC paper this week and noticed that there is a Kids Learning and Growing Fair going on this weekend (January 28-29, 2006) at the Bell Sensplex in Kanata.  There will be all kinds of interesting displayers who make their living supplying families in the area with some great services.  Check out the http://www.reemevents.ca/ site (the promoter) to see who will be at the show.  The biggest draw will be the Treehouse Live show: The Big Comfy Couch (Hey isn’t that the girl who used to visit Mr. Dressup!?).  The show is part of your admission cost (free with admission is how they word it).

Grandparents $5.00
3 and Up $3.00
Under 3 FREE

In looking at who would be at the fair, I noticed that there is a new guide out for doing things with the kids in the Ottawa area.  The site with information on the guide is http://www.kidsottawa.com/ (Kids Ottawa).  The guide is $12 and is a great way to help come up with ideas related to doing things with the kids.  Go to their site, they list who to buy the guide from.
